Dads Birthday
Made for my dear dads birthday next week, I love making easel cards now they have taken over from the step cards, the ship is decoupaged and I have added the knotted string for a 3D effect. The letters are cut with my new sizzix alphabet set. I am finding it easier now to make cards again now that my arm is on the mend.

My first everything
My first card of the year, my first easel card and my first card made with one arm! LOL
I have cut the back panel with my craft robo, it was a free design from uk scrappers, I added extra butterflies that I ran through the swiss dots folder, there are little pearls but they do not show up too well. I have used lots of nesties too, a labels set with the verse "Don't think of it as getting older, you're just in full bloom" and and oval set to mount the 70 on and my favorite borderabilities.

New Year
Well I have started my new year in plaster, on new years eve I managed to break my wrist in two places and not even a drop of alcohol had past my lips. Serves me right for straying out my comfort zone, well thats the end of my dancing on ice career!!!!!!!! At the moment I am in agony and won't be posted any cards for a while but hope to learn to craft with one hand very soon as I have a seventieth birthday card to make for 26th.
xrays are not mine, just for a laugh

My christmas crackers
Every year I buy cheap crackers and put my own gifts in, minature bottles of perfume, cufflinks, jewellery and nice chocolates. This is the picture of them straight out of the box
The finished crackers. i have decorated them with my borderabilities in cream and gold papers, tied nice gold tinsel round them and added toppers made from gold card cut from oval nestabilities, I added gold holly leaves (I bought a big bag years ago from lakeland) and little snowflakes which were from a christmas garland I cut up.

It's a side step again!
Inspiration was lacking at the last minute so all my cards have ended up as a variation on a theme - that being my favorite side step! I have embossed the mirri car with the swirls embossing folder and added gems and glitter

holly stamped card
here you go nettie, your christmas card. I stamped the background with a tiny holly stamp and stamp pens, it took me ages! LOL Each little spring was stamped individually. Then I mat and layered my circle nesties and stamped a greeting. there are also touches of glitter and gems that do not show up very well.
